Thanks to all the subsidies. we receive, we can upgrade our operating equipment and be more environmentally friendly, while creating jobs for high-quality employees. Our employees are the pillar of our company and it is our intention to ensure their satisfaction and professionalism, which is confirmed by our company's code of ethics.

Our long-term goal is also to continuously develop our production program so that we can satisfy our customers with the highest possible quality, which we achieve thanks to new and always up-to-date technologies. COMPANY HISTORY

The company Vítkovické slévárny, spol. s r.o. is a traditional manufacturer of rolls for rolling metals, shaped castings from steel and cast iron and since 2003 also castings from copper alloys.

During its existence, the company has undergone a number of changes, the last significant change that occurred during 2003 was the privatization of the company and its subsequent merger with Slévárna barevných kovů, spol. s r.o. The merger of the two resulted in a company that is the legal successor of Slévárna barevných kovů and bears the business name Vítkovické slévárny, spol. s r.o. In May 2013, Vítkovické slévárny, spol. s r.o. became the owner of a 100% share of INPROMA spol. s r.o., based in Křinec near Nymburk, and subsequently in 2014 it also became the owner of a 100% share of ME-Metal, s.r.o. in Droužkovice u Chomutova.

The dynamically developing company has a tradition of producing castings since 1828 and cylinders since 1910. Today we are one of the leading European manufacturers of working rolls for hot plate mills. We use modern centrifugal casting technology. The production programme also includes the manufacture of models and atypical wood products.

1828 - The beginning of engineering and metallurgical production in Vítkovice.
1830 - The first puddling furnace in the entire Habsburg Monarchy is lit.
1831 - Production of grey cast iron foundry started.
1843 - The ironworks are bought by Salomon Meyer Rothschild.
1910 - Production of metallurgical cylinders and heavy machine parts - the cornerstone of the current production of Vitkovice Slévárny, spol.s r.o.
1919 - Foundry established under the trade name R. Sýkora factory of machine and foundry specialties, the cornerstone of the Slévárna Slévárny Slévárny barevných kovů, spol. s r.o.
1948 - Nationalization and incorporation under the administration of Vítkovice Ironworks
1989 - Completed construction of a unique technology of centrifugal casting of cylinders, started production of double-layer cylinders according to the license of Gontermann Peipers in our company
1994 - Separation of the foundry from the organizational structure of VÍTKOVICE, a.s. and establishment of Slévárna Slévárny barevných kovů, spol.s r.o.
1996 - Sale of SBK's business share to IC TRADE, spol.s r.o.
1997 - Spin-off of the unit "Roller Foundry" from the organizational structure of VÍTKOVICE, a.s., establishment of the company Vítkovické slévárny, spol.s r.o.
1997 - ZIntroduction of furan moulding technology
2003 - Slévárna Slévárna barevných kovů, spol.s r.o. acquires 99% of the business share of Vítkovické slévárny, spol.s r.o.
2010 - 100th anniversary of the production of centrifugally and stationary cast cylinders
2013 - Vítkovické slévárny, spol. s r.o. acquires 100% of the shares of INPROMA, spol. s r.o.
2014 - Vítkovické slévárny, spol. s r.o. owns 100% of Me-Metal, s.r.o.
